California Psychological Institute (CPI) provides professional counseling services to children, adole
California Psychological Institute (CPI) provides specialty outpatient mental health services to children and families impacted by the Child Welfare System. CPI has been proudly serving the needs of Fresno County since 2001 as a contracted provider. CPI's philosophy is that mental health services should be directed by the needs of the individual through a strong collaborative effort of all agencies and individuals involved. CPI understands an individual is part of a family unit and encouraging parental/guardian involvement will enhance the efforts of the treatment team. CPI supports counseling, training and community participation. CPI's collaboration with community providers and referring agencies are an important part of treatment that assures a continuum of quality care. CPI's diverse team consists of licensed mental health professionals and registered associates. In addition, CPI has bachelor level Client Care Coordinators who provide rehabilitation, education and in-home services. CPI is only accepting new clients with a Referral through Fresno County Department of Social Services.

California Psychological Institute previously offered CEs via many trainings that we offered to the community. Well, COVID and life both happened and we stopped offering both trainings and CEs.
Today, we are so excited to announce that we are back to providing trainings and offering CEs to participants.
Thank you to our very own Angela Boardman LMFT for providing a phenomenal training on childhood trauma and the brain.
We cannot wait for future trainings and more learning.
