A beautiful afternoon of community, reflection, and tradition at Kissena Park Lake.

Members of the Hillcrest Jewish Center community and beyond came together for our annual Multi-Generational Tashlich, joining in prayer and reflection as we symbolically cast away the past year and look ahead to the year to come.

It was wonderful to gather together in such a beautiful setting and share in this meaningful High Holiday tradition. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the afternoon so special.

Shana Tova and G’mar Chatima Tova! 🍎🍯

Hillcrest Jewish Center invites all ages to gather at Kissena Park Lake tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16 at 4:00 PM for our Multi-Generational Communal Tashlich.

Together, we’ll recite the Tashlich prayer, symbolically cast away the sins of the past year, and take a moment for reflection as we welcome the New Year.

🌿 In keeping with our commitment to protecting the park and its wildlife, please do not bring bread. Birdseed will be provided.

We hope you’ll join us!
