November Gallery Opening: Thursday, November 5th

As Route 66 celebrates its 100th anniversary this November, Edmond Fine Arts will join in marking the 2,448 mile route milestone with EFA’s November Gallery Show, The Other Side: Project A Photographic Road Trip through America’s Heart, a photography exhibition featuring the work of photographers Melinda Green Harvey and VC Torneden.

The exhibition will open with a public reception on Thursday, November 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Edmond Fine Arts and all are invited to celebrate the centennial with creativity.

Edmond Fine Arts is proud to have incredible faculty members that make up our teaching team! Each faculty member is a specialist in their field and has fantastic teaching experience.

🎨Meet Brook Elliott🎨

Brook Elliott is an artist and educator with over 20 years of teaching experience. She has a passion for art, hands-on learning and helping others unlock their own creativity. Brook has been working with ceramics for more than 10 years and has extensive experience in wheel throwing, hand-building & sculpting. She has taught students from preschool through high school, as well as adults in individual and small-group settings. She especially enjoys creating an environment where students feel comfortable experimenting, developing their skills and finding their own artistic voice.

The Holiday Session Classes at Edmond Fine Arts are officially OPEN for registration! This session is 3-weeks between Thanksgiving and the Holiday Break and is a perfect time to discover creativity!

Yesterday, EFA staff members Savannah Whitehead, Janet Hoppe, and Hannah Glavas attended the RECON26 Leadership Conference, made possible by generous community sponsors, including KIMRAY, Regent Bank, The Center for Organizational Health, and other organizations that recognize the importance of great leadership.

One of our biggest takeaways was that our impact as leaders extends beyond our own accomplishments. It grows through the people we encourage, support, and help develop. At Edmond Fine Arts, that starts with our teachers: recognizing their strengths, giving them room to grow, and helping them feel supported and valued. That investment creates a ripple effect, shaping how they encourage their students, build confidence, and inspire creativity throughout our community.

We had the opportunity to hear from nationally recognized speakers Simon T. Bailey, Thomas Hill III, Juliet Funt, Sherri Coale, and Dr. Nathan Mellor, who shared their insights on “The Multiplication Effect.” Each speaker was dynamic, transparent, and passionate about sharing their experiences with the audience.

At Edmond Fine Arts, we’re excited to put these lessons into practice by continuing to invest in our teachers. When teachers feel supported and valued, that impact extends beyond our team and into our classrooms, where students build confidence, explore their creativity, and develop a sense of belonging. That’s the ripple effect we have the opportunity to create.

In September, Edmond Fine Arts was honored to participate in the 2026 Red Day Run presented by Keller Williams. Each year this event gives over $200k to local nonprofit organizations and EFA is so grateful to be one of the recipients❤️ 2026 marked the huge milestone of over $2 million dollars given❤️

This past Tuesday, Hannah Glavas and Janet Hoppe accepted EFA’s check for 6th place at the celebration breakfast. Thank you to all that made this event possible and all of the community members that participated on team Edmond Fine Arts✨

The 2028 Gallery Application is officially OPEN at Edmond Fine Arts✨

Calling all artists and art curators! Submit your applications for the 2028 Gallery Schedule. Each year EFA hosts local artists and artist groups for monthly shows in the EFA Gallery. 11 shows will be selected for 2028, each show lasts one month with the exception of the December show, which will remain up through January 2029.

Artists may choose to apply for a solo show or as a duo or group show. Additionally, curators can submit applications for a curated show.
