Happy Farmall Friday! If it hadn't been for the rain overnight, the Super M-TA was going to get hitched up to the old IH drill and seed some wheat. However, it did rain, so we started putting a new feeder house floor in the combine instead! The drill got a set of new shoes yesterday, so it's ready for duty in a couple days anyway!

I haven't got a lot of harvest done yet, been kinda busy trying to finish hay! Figured I'd post a few pictures from the last few weeks though!

Closing in on the hay season, let's see if I can get all my wagons filled in the next few days!

Reaching the end of , a couple of fields left to cut yet. The last couple days have not been great hay drying days either 😅 Would definitely like for the sun to pop out at some point!
Fresh gas and a couple cranks was all it took for the old F-20 to start this morning. Hasn't been started since last fall or winter.

Piece of advice for my future self... Do not take an engine apart and wait almost two years to start putting it back together. Luckily I took a bunch of pictures when I took it apart, so hopefully I can put the puzzle back together again!

Had a few busy, but fun days at the fair this week. Weather concerns brought the cows and goat back home today, though. First time any of us have had a hand in showing animals, and I'm not real sure if the kids or Jennifer Muldoon and I learned more this week! Big thanks to Michelle Steinbarger Tobias and Hayley Clark for helping guide us in this adventure, and ellie jean gosser for helping Karlene out Monday night with handling her steer, Honeypots! We couldn't have done it without you guys!
Got the old 60 out to plant some green beans this afternoon

Felt like I was a little late to the party this spring, but is complete here. Well, with the exception of a couple wet spots that was too soggy to pull the planter through. On to hay, spray, and nitrogen!

Most of the ground was in good shape today, but where it was wet, it was WET! Nonetheless, first crop beans are finished, and another field of corn done. Now we see what kind of weather mother nature decides to throw us the next few days.
