October has been Domestic Violence Awareness Month. We finish the month with a couple of Success Impacts that have come from the support of the domestic violence program at Dove. We are thankful we can walk along side of victims to help them get through and re-establish their next steps of hope.

Dove Financial Assistance (DFA) – Important Program Information

Dove, Inc. is committed to assisting individuals and families in our community who are experiencing financial hardships.

Our Dove Financial Assistance (DFA) Program provides limited financial assistance to help address essential needs.

Types of Assistance Available:
Water bills
Transportation
Work-related clothing
Dental expenses
Certain medications
Other essential crisis/emergency needs

Financial Assistance Limit:
DFA provides up to $300 toward the final payment amount for an approved assistance request.

Assistance is based on eligibility, demonstrated need, and available funding.

Dove staff have been busy this Halloween! Joyce represented Dove at John’s Hill Magnet School’s Fall Festival on 10/28. Danielle and Angel participated on behalf of Dove in a community Trunk or Treat at 1st United Methodist Church on 10/29.

Help keep local kids warm this winter! 🧥❤️ The 35th annual WAND Coats for Kids Drive with Dove, Inc. begins Oct. 26 across Macon County. Donate a new or gently used coat and help provide one at no cost to a child in need.
