Decatur ISD is inviting Decatur families, staff, and community members to join the district for The NEST Chapter—a special door-opening tailgate and open house at the historic Flusche Building next to Eagle Stadium (200 S US Hwy 81-287) on Friday, Oct. 23, from 5:30–6:30 p.m.!

Come get an early look at the space before renovations begin and celebrate its future as a dedicated hub where our students will learn, create, serve, and take flight. The event will feature free hotdogs, tours of the current space before transformation, and more. Please note that E. Shoemaker next to the stadium will be closed from Bus. 287 to S. Stratton St. to accommodate pedestrian traffic.

🎓 Leadership Decatur – Education Day! 📚

Our Leadership Decatur Class, presented by BKV Corporation, had a great day exploring the educational opportunities available right here in our community!

Throughout the day, our class had the opportunity to visit the Decatur ISD Administration Building and tour Young Elementary School, DISD STEM Academy at Enis Elementary, Decatur High School, Decatur, TX, and Carson Elementary. It was a wonderful opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at our local schools, learn more about the programs and opportunities available to students, and gain a better understanding of how Decatur ISD operates!

A huge THANK YOU to all the principals, teachers, administrators, and staff who took time out of their busy schedules to welcome our group, show us around, and share all the amazing things happening throughout Decatur ISD! 💙

A HUGE thank you to all of our sponsors who make the Leadership Decatur program possible. Your continued support and investment in developing leaders in our community means so much to us!
