Heartland CASA advocates for the best interest of abused and neglected children who are in the custody of the state of Illinois and under the protection of the Macon, DeWitt, Christian, and Moultrie County courts. Macon County CASA recruits, trains, and supports volunteers from the community who, as sworn officers of the court, advocate for abused and neglected children in the Macon & DeWitt County juvenile court systems.

Help us welcome Heartland CASA’s newest advocates!
Today, Kasina B. and Angelia Y. were sworn in by Judge Erick Hubbard, officially beginning their journey as volunteer advocates for children in Macon County.
Every child deserves someone who will listen, speak up, and make sure their voice is heard. We are so grateful that Kasina and Angelia have chosen to show up for children in our community, and we can’t wait to see the difference they are about to make in the lives of the children they serve.
Please join us in congratulating them both as they begin this meaningful journey!
