This came up at Elevate this morning, and somehow NONE of the patients we asked said yes! Meanwhile, some of us thought “lizard earrings” were a normal part of childhood. 🤣

Naturally, we put a voting board up in the clinic. Now we’re bringing the poll to you!

⚖️ HOW STEADY ARE YOU ON YOUR FEET?

A simple 10-second balance check can help identify when your balance needs attention!

🚶‍♀️ Try this simple test:
With a sturdy countertop nearby and another adult beside you, try holding each position for 10 seconds:

* Feet together
* One foot slightly in front of the other
* Heel-to-toe, like standing on a tightrope

Stop if you feel unsteady, and never push through a loss of balance.

💪 Two ways to build strength and balance:
✅ Supported heel-to-toe standing:
Stand beside a sturdy countertop with one foot directly in front of the other. Use your hands for support as needed and hold for 10–20 seconds. Switch feet and repeat 3 times on each side.

✅ Sit-to-stands:
Sit in a sturdy chair placed against a wall. Lean forward, push through your feet, and stand up. Slowly lower yourself back into the chair. Start with 5–10 repetitions, using the armrests if needed.

As Elevate continues to grow, we’re looking for the right person to join our leadership team as our Director of Patient Access & Revenue Cycle.

This is a big hire for us and not simply a front-office or billing position. We’re looking for someone with significant experience in medical billing and revenue cycle who also knows how to lead people, build systems, solve problems, and take ownership.

This person will oversee our Patient Access and administrative operations while also helping us manage the entire revenue cycle — insurance verification, authorizations, billing, denials, A/R, collections, reimbursement, and our current outsourced billing partnership.

Long term, we want someone with the knowledge and experience to build and lead an in-house billing department if we decide to take that step in the future.

As we continue to grow Elevate, we need leaders who can help us build the systems and team necessary to support that growth. We’re looking for someone who wants more than just another job. We want someone who wants to help build something special and make an impact on the people we serve.
