Legacy Academy

A day full of learning, laughter, and FARM-tastic memories! Our students had the best time taking a field trip to Guillion Farms! From exploring the farm to experiencing hands-on learning, it was a day full of fun, and memories we won’t forget! 🤎

A couple of weeks ago, our Academy crew took learning outside the classroom and enjoyed a day at Go Far Park!

Lots of fresh air, fun, and time to make memories together. We love giving our students opportunities to learn, play, and grow beyond the classroom!

A look at the creativity happening at Legacy Academy! Our artists have been busy creating, exploring, and letting their imaginations run wild. We love watching them shine through every colorful masterpiece!

We 🤍 our little classroom!!

We’re More Than Academics! We are teaching…

Kindness
Learning to care for others and treat everyone with love.

Patience
Learning to wait, listen, and remain calm when things don’t go their way.

Responsibility
Learning to take ownership of their choices, belongings, and responsibilities.

Respect
Learning to value themselves, their classmates, their teachers, and others.

We’re building more than strong students. We’re helping build kind, responsible, respectful, and patient people.

Our students got some good insight on some careers for career day today!! We had a photographer, a physical therapist, lawyers, police, a realtor, and a sales associate talk to the class about what they do for a living!

They also got a lesson on 3 things it takes to be a leader:
1) Love Jesus
2) Serve Others
3) Love

Thank you to everyone who came and shared to our students! They enjoyed it!

What do we believe about education??

Learning, creating, and making memories together! We love seeing our students engaged and enjoying their time in the classroom. 📚🤍

Meet Coach Emily! 💙

As our students begin with Coach Emily through Percheron Fitness, we’re excited to introduce the experience and certifications Coach Emily brings to our PE classes!

“ My certification is The Brand X Method Professional Certified Youth Coach. I also completed the Percheron Fitness Internship Program and have been an official Coach there since March. We use The Brand X Method Programming for kids as well 😊” -Coach Emily

We’re so excited for Coach Emily to pour into our students and help them build strength, confidence, coordination, and healthy movement habits! All while having fun!

We are excited to announce that Legacy Academy is officially an approved CHOOSE Act Vendor!🥳🎊🤩

What does this mean??🤔

There is an evident national, state, and local trend showing that families are exploring new options when it comes to their child’s education. Alabama legislators responded by introducing the CHOOSE Act to help give families options.

Families can apply to receive funds for an “Education Savings Account” to pay for tuition, fees, and other qualified education expenses through approved Education Services Providers.

As an approved Education Service Provider, this means you can use your child’s ESA to pay tuition at Legacy Academy!!😊🙌🏼❤️
