Happy Halloween 🎃 !

⚡🪄 Mischief Managed! And what a MAGICAL adventure it was! 🧙‍♂️✨

After weeks of reading, discussing, and bringing the wizarding world to life, our Harry Potter Book Club wrapped up with a field trip that was nothing short of MAGICAL! 🏰📚

Our traded their classrooms for Hogwarts robes and headed to COSM at Grandscape to experience Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in Shared Reality! And WOW! 🤩 Between the larger-than-life screen and the magic of Hogwarts surrounding us, it was an experience these kiddos won’t soon forget!

But y’all, the BEST part wasn’t just the movie. It was watching these students fall in love with a BOOK, show up each week excited to read, and then get to see the story they had spent weeks exploring come to life! ❤️📖

A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Hughes and everyone who helped make our first Harry Potter Book Club such a success! We have loved every minute of this adventure with our young readers!

And just like that, our first Book Club is officially in the books! 📚✨

Until our next adventure… ⚡🪄

We just LOVE our relationship with Decatur Medical Lodge! The cutest little had the best time parading around for the residents. 🎃

📚🎃 A little HOCUS POCUS and a whole lot of BOOKS! 📖✨

Our 3rd Grade Readers were treated to a SPOOKTACULAR Book Tasting, where they got to sample a little bit of everything from the wonderful world of books! From fun costumes and festive treats to discovering new stories, these kiddos were in for quite the experience! 👻🍬📚

Who knew reading could be so DELICIOUS?! 🧡

Please go vote (Like 👍🏼) for our very own Griffin Gilliam! 🎃

👻🧪 Who says learning can’t be a little SPOOKTACULAR?! 👻

Our are putting their scientific thinking to the test this week with some Halloween-inspired experiments that bring everything they’ve learned so far this year to LIFE! 🎃

Yesterday was Pumpkin Plummet 🎃 and today things got a little brighter with GLOWING GHOSTS! 👻💜💚

Students explored how thermal energy affects the chemical and light energy inside glow sticks by placing their glowing bracelets into water at different temperatures. And y’all, science is even cooler when the classroom GLOWS! 🌟

This is what STEM learning is all about! 💙🦅
