Special K Ranch's mission is to "provide family-oriented Christian homes, on a working ranch for adults who have developmental disabilities."
Special K is unique as we offer life-long residency for our ranchers. Special K Ranch is a place where people who have developmental disabilities live, learn, and work with loving caring advisors who are committed to strengthening living skills and building personal and community relationships. This is being accomplished by family oriented living with only four residents in each home. They are receiving guidance from live-in home advisors and learning independent living and vocational skill by being responsible for personal care, household maintenance, ranch production, and involvement in the community. Everyone works together in the horticulture and livestock programs to help the ranch become as self-sustaining as possible. Until these goals are reached, the program will need financial assistance from charitable support.

The ranchers had some puppies from South Slope Rescue at the ranch today. You can tell from their faces that they loved the experience.

Dr. Jay, Greg and Ben J., went to Chester MT to see Lee Gagnon. He was one of the first four residents at Special K Ranch. The three ranchers lived together at the former Kunkel House.
What a fun day of catching up.

Come out to the ranch and go on a hayride, drink c***r, stop at our vegetable stand, and pick your own pumpkin.
C***r and hayrides are free. Pumpkins are $5, $10, or $15
depending on the size.
