It’s Why Ambassador Wednesday! This week, we’re highlighting Ryan Pelletier, a first-generation Aggie from Southlake, Texas, whose creativity, drive, and positive attitude help build meaningful connections across the Aggie Network.

Ryan is pursuing a degree in Communications with a minor in Business, and after graduation, he plans to return to Bell as an Event Marketer, where he hopes to make a lasting and positive impact on both the company and the people it serves. At Texas A&M, Ryan has been deeply involved on campus, serving as President of Beta Upsilon Chi (BYX) Fraternity, leading over 250 members in their mission of brotherhood and faith. He has also served as Director of Administration for the Abbott Family Leadership Conference and as a Fish Camp Counselor. Beyond campus, Ryan is an active member of his church in College Station, where he serves in Children’s Ministry. Professionally, he has interned the past two summers with Bell Helicopter in the Marketing Department, gaining experience in military marketing and digital communications.

Ryan shares, “I first learned about the 1879 Society Ambassadors through a friend and saw the unique ways he was able to serve former, current, and future Aggies. Watching him add value and make a meaningful impact on people from all walks of life inspired me to apply.”

Ryan brings creativity, determination, and a consistently positive attitude to the Ambassador team. His leadership heart and passion for community strengthen the group’s connection to the Aggie Network and help ensure every initiative is carried out with excellence and purpose.

Outside of school, Ryan enjoys spending time with friends and investing in meaningful relationships. His commitment to leadership, service, and building authentic connections makes him a valuable member of the Ambassador program and a true reflection of the spirit of Texas A&M.

It’s Why Ambassador Wednesday! This week, we’re highlighting our President, Josie, a first-generation Aggie and a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2026. Josie is pursuing a degree in Political Science with a minor in Sociology at Texas A&M University.

A passionate leader and advocate, Josie currently serves as the President of the 1879 Society Ambassadors, a Class Agent for the Class of 2026, and is a past Chair of Traditions Council. Her campus involvement also includes organizations such as Fish Aides, Muster, and Student Government. In recognition of her spirit and service, Josie was honored with the Buck Weirus Spirit Award and the Chief Student Leader Award in 2025. Professionally, she works as an Executive Student Assistant at The Association of Former Students, where she helps strengthen the Aggie Network and foster meaningful connections between current and former students. With a heart for advocacy and a dedication to making a difference, Josie is committed to leaving a lasting impact on her community and beyond.

Josie shares, “I wanted to become an Ambassador because I was drawn to the heart behind the organization and the chance to serve the university in a meaningful way! What I love most about being part of The 1879 Society Ambassadors is that everything we do has is purposeful! Being an Ambassador has helped me grow as a leader, a communicator, and a teammate in ways I didn’t expect. It feels special to represent Texas A&M in such impactful spaces and be trusted with that responsibility. I would recommend this organization to anyone who wants to grow personally, serve others, and be part of a community that genuinely cares about what it stands for!”

Josie brings diligence, heart, and leadership to the Ambassador team. Her intentional leadership and passion for service strengthen the connection between students, former students, and the Aggie Network, making her a true representation of the spirit of Texas A&M.
