Welcome to Cleveland Preparatory Academy! We are an K-8 tuition-free, public charter school.
Conveniently located on Pearl Road in the heart of Old Brooklyn, Cleveland Prep offers a traditional, teacher-led approach to learning, enriched with Education Technology to accelerate student learning & readiness. We individualize learning for Grades EK-8 with small group rotations, 1:1 learning, large group instruction & blended learning. Hands-on, project-based learning is an important method we use to develop independent learners who are engaged in their work. Our students have the opportunity to earn an Ice Cream Social each Friday when they employ our CHAMPS values: Conversation, Help, Activity, Movement, Participation & Success; this is how we support students in becoming productive citizens in our community. Our students participate in regular Recess & Cool Down periods throughout the day.
Which one did you think this morning? 😂
The flyer’s strongest invitation is the shared table. I’d lead with belonging, then give families the details they need to show up.
Panther families, there’s a place for you at the table. 🐾❤️
For our annual Hispanic Heritage Family Potluck, we’re coming together to celebrate the food, stories, and traditions our families bring to Cleveland Prep. Bring a favorite family dish, a traditional dish, or a dessert to share. Come ready for music, crafts, games, and time with one another.
📅 Monday, October 12 | 3–5 PM
📍 Cleveland Prep, 4850 Pearl Ave.
Please RSVP by October 5 and let us know how many people are coming and what food you plan to bring. Students must attend with a parent.
Panthers, what dish tells a story about your family? Tell us in the comments. 👇

It took 30 minutes for our fathers and figures to help promote our culture and our mission. It’s crazy to think what 1 walk and 30 minutes will do!
