🐾 National Pet Obesity Awareness Day! 🐾

Did you know that more than half of dogs and cats in the U.S. are overweight or obese? Extra pounds can lead to diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, and a shorter lifespan. The good news is that it's preventable! 💪

Not sure if your pet is at a healthy weight? Try the quick check:
✅ Can you feel their ribs without pressing hard?
✅ Do they have a visible waistline when viewed from above?
✅ Is their belly tucked up when viewed from the side?

If you answered no to any of these, it's time to chat with us! 🩺

Small changes make a big difference:
🥣 Measure meals instead of eyeballing them
🦴 Swap high-calorie treats for veggies like carrots or green beans
🎾 Add a few extra minutes of play or walks each day

Because a healthy weight means more happy years together. ❤️

🐾 Happy National Black Dog Day! 🐾

Today we're celebrating all the sleek, shiny, soulful black pups who make our lives brighter! 🖤

Black dogs are often the last to be adopted, but they're every bit as loving, loyal, and goofy as any other pup. Whether you've got a Lab, a Schnauzer, a Rottie, or a lovable mutt, your black dog deserves some extra love today.

💛 Give them an extra belly rub
🦴 Spoil them with a special treat
📸 Share a photo of them in the comments!

We'll show some love to every single one! 👇

And if you're thinking of adding a furry friend to your family, consider visiting your local shelter. A black dog might just be your perfect match. 🐕‍⬛

Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸

Today, we celebrate and appreciate all the hardworking individuals who keep our communities moving forward❤️

We hope you enjoy a safe, relaxing holiday filled with good company, sunshine, and plenty of time with your four-legged family members!

🐶🐱 Happy Labor Day from our veterinary family to yours!

🐾 Labor Day Notice 🐾

In observance of Labor Day, we will be closed on Monday, September 7th. We’ll reopen with our regular hours at 7:30am on Tuesday, September 8th.

Thank you, and we hope you enjoy the holiday with your furry family members! 🐶🐱

We’ll see you back on September 8th!

Not every patient has fur! 🐸

We love seeing exotic pets at our clinic — today’s visitor was this handsome (and very acrobatic) frog. Whether you’ve got paws, scales, feathers, or in this case, sticky little toe pads, we’re here for all your pets’ health needs!

🐶 IT’S NATIONAL DOG DAY! 🐶

Which means today it is scientifically mandatory to:
✅ Give extra belly rubs
✅ Let them have “just one more” treat
✅ Tell them they’re a good boy/girl approximately 500 times
✅ Pretend not to notice when they steal the couch

Drop a pic of your best friend in the comments — we want to see those goofy faces! 🐾 And hey, if it’s also been a minute since their last checkup… we promise we’re way less scary than the vacuum cleaner. 😉
