The region in the heart of Romania, Transylvania, is where the Chimney Cake (Kürtőskalács) originated. What do Chimney Cakes and the vampire Dracula have in common? Both are from Transylvania! Now, we would like to share with you our childhood memories by introducing this very unique oven baked pastry.

We are so thrilled to be a vendor at the annual Witches Night Out fundraiser this year!
Vendors from 2 pm, big party from 6 pm to 9 pm for a spooky night benefiting Faces of Hope, the crisis services they provide to people experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking, and other forms of abuse in our community. Dress up as a witch or a warlock and expect:

🍂 Autumn is showing us just how colorful and bountiful nature can be. The leaves are falling, and so are the remaining days on the calendar.
With October comes the closing of a special chapter for many of us Boise Farmers Market vendors.
After four wonderful years at Shoreline Drive, we are incredibly grateful for the community that welcomed us, supported us, and became part of our journey. ❤️
Now, a new chapter is beginning as we prepare for our new permanent home at Idaho Botanical Garden —and we hope our loyal customers, both old and new, will follow us on this exciting adventure!

The market is blooming with the best of the season, so stop by this Saturday at the Boise Farmers Market , fill your basket with fresh local produce, and treat yourself to one of our fragrant, fresh-from-the-oven chimney cakes. 🧡
