POV: You thought you were just going to dinner… and suddenly the whole restaurant turned into a PARTY! 😂🚢🎶
Music playing, napkins waving in the air, and everyone getting in on the fun! 💃🎉
THIS is what we mean when we say vacation memories are made in the most unexpected moments! 🥹💛
At Exceptional Vacations, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) get to experience the joy of traveling, making new friends, and enjoying adventures of their own with support along the way.
Because sometimes the best memories happen between the activities on your itinerary. 🌎✨
And who knew dinner could be THIS much fun?! 😂
💛 Send this to someone you’d love to be sitting next to at this dinner table!
🚢 Follow Exceptional Vacations for more real travel moments, happy memories, and adventures for adults with IDD!

David had a dream. 🇬🇧✈️💛
For years, he wanted to visit the United Kingdom. He loved British music, history, castles, and everything from Buckingham Palace to fish and chips!
And on March 27, 2025, that dream became a REAL adventure. 🥹
With the help of Rebecca and the Exceptional Vacations team, David experienced a custom trip designed around the things HE loved.
Cliff accompanied him, providing support while giving David the freedom to explore and enjoy his adventure on his own terms.
His sister Laurie described the experience beautifully:
“Like he was a regular guy on the road with a buddy.” ❤️
And THAT is why we do what we do.
Because adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) have dreams, bucket lists, favorite places, and adventures they want to experience, just like everybody else.
Sometimes all it takes is someone willing to listen and help make it possible. 🌎
✈️ Now we want to hear from YOU!
If you could plan your dream vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Exceptional Vacations offers custom travel experiences for adults with IDD. Tell us where you want to go, and let’s explore what’s possible!

Our Exceptional Vacations travelers got a little taste of that magic at Dollywood! 🎢🎶
We believe adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) deserve opportunities to explore the world, experience new adventures, and make memories of their own.
Because life’s too big and beautiful to spend it all in one place. 💛

Some people take one trip and fall in love with traveling. Others, like Paul, keep coming back for more! 🥹✈️💛
“I like traveling. I like being all over the different places. I enjoy being with you guys.” — Paul, EV Traveler
And THAT is what it’s all about! 🌎
New destinations, familiar faces, lasting friendships, and always having another adventure to look forward to.
At Exceptional Vacations, we help adults with IDD explore the world, connect with others, and make memories of their own.
Because everyone deserves something exciting to look forward to! 💛
