We teach the life-saving skill of swimming to all ages in a safe environment using a nurturing method that builds self-confidence.
Kara Cassidy has followed her passion to teach swimming to all ages, from 3 months to adult. Her story began at the Jersey Shore of Ocean City and continues to beautiful Boca Raton, Florida and surrounding communities. Florida Swim School is an indoor location in Boca Raton!

NBC 6 is helping shine a light on a message every parent needs to hear: drowning is one of the leading causes of accidental death among children ages 1–4 in Florida. 💙
The most important part? Prevention.
Swipe through for NBC 6’s water safety reminders:
• Never take your eyes off children near the water — no phones, no distractions.
• Teach children to swim from an early age and use safety barriers around pools.
• Learn CPR so you’re prepared to act in an emergency.
• Children with autism may be at greater risk of drowning, making constant supervision especially important.
At Florida Swim School, this is why we say swimming is a skill for LIFE. Water safety starts long before an emergency happens.
Thank you for sharing information that can help protect Florida families. 🌊

88% is a number worth knowing. 💙
Research found that formal swim lessons were associated with an 88% reduction in the odds of drowning among children ages 1–4.
Swim lessons are only one layer of protection, but they can play an important role in helping children build confidence, water competency, and life-saving skills.
At Florida Swim School, we believe water safety starts early — and those skills can last a lifetime. 🏊♀️

Swim instructors really do get the FULL story 😂💦
One minute we’re practicing floats… the next we’re 7 plot twists deep into a dream that may or may not have involved a dinosaur, grandma, and a trip to Target. 😭
And somehow, we’re still getting those swim skills in!🤣🤣 🏊♀️
Boca Raton families — whether it’s your baby’s first lesson, your child building confidence, or you’re an adult finally learning to swim, we’ve got a class for you. 💙
