Eastmont Church

*Update*

We will be coming alongside the community and other churches at Drake Park at 7PM for a prayer vigil

…

Eastmont Church and School family,

As news is still coming in about the shooting at Silver Rail Elementary, I am asking you to take some time to pray for the families affected. Also be praying for the police, fire and medical workers who were involved today. Be praying for the lives of those currently in the hospital, and for the teams working to care for them.

There is no greater evil in the world than attacking children. Like you, I am shocked, heartbroken, and angry. As I sit here writing this, I am at a loss for words. Sometimes, that is the appropriate response. In our divided times, we seem to be quick to speak, argue, and fight with one another. Today, I would ask you all to let Paul’s encouragement in Romans 12:15 be true in your life. “Weep with those who weep”.

In light of all that has happened today, all scheduled ministries will be cancelled until this Sunday’s gathering. Along with Bend LaPine schools, Eastmont School will be closed tomorrow as well.

As our community grieves, we know that some will need a place to pray and process. We will be coming alongside the community and other churches at Drake Park at 7PM for a prayer vigil.

Pastor Blaine

This past weekend, the men of Eastmont gathered at Ochoco Christian Conference Center for our 2026 Men’s Retreat! Pastor Mike brought powerful messages from God’s Word, and the time together was filled with intentional conversations, friendly competition, and plenty of good food. We’re so grateful for the men of this church and their heart to glorify God in all they do!

A weekend well spent at Cultus Lake 🌲 Our first annual Young Adults Retreat was definitely one for the books!

Good food, late-night campfires, lots of laughter, and meaningful time together in worship and God’s Word. TJ challenged us to “Live a Life of Consequence," a message we hope sticks with us far beyond the weekend.

So thankful for time away together and for the community God is building within Eastmont Young Adults!
