🎉🎂 CELEBRATING 37 YEARS OF AMSE! 🔬🌎

October 25, 1989 – October 25, 2026

37 Years of Advancing Opportunity. Inspiring Excellence. Empowering Futures!

Today, the Association for Multicultural Science Education (AMSE) proudly celebrates 37 years of commitment to advancing multicultural science education! 🎉

Since our establishment on October 25, 1989, AMSE has remained grounded in a powerful belief: Every student deserves the opportunity to see themselves in science, experience the excitement of discovery, and envision a future in STEM.

For 37 years, our mission has centered on supporting science educators, strengthening teaching and learning, encouraging culturally diverse students to pursue science-related careers, and championing opportunities that make science education meaningful and accessible.

As an affiliate of the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA), AMSE proudly continues its legacy of connecting educators, elevating diverse perspectives, and contributing to important conversations shaping the future of science education.

🌎 37 years of celebrating diversity.

🔬 37 years of championing science education.

🤝 37 years of connecting and empowering educators.

🚀 37 years of inspiring future STEM leaders.

As we celebrate this milestone, we honor the visionaries who established AMSE, the dedicated leaders who have sustained its mission, and the educators and advocates who continue to believe in the transformative power of science education.

Our history is our foundation. Our mission is our purpose. Our future is our opportunity.

As we look toward the next chapter, AMSE remains committed to ensuring that multicultural science education is not simply part of the conversation—it is an essential part of the future of science teaching and learning.

🎉 Happy 37th Anniversary, AMSE! Here’s to honoring our legacy, strengthening our impact, and inspiring generations to come!
