Tammy Billups and I have done several shoots together over the years, and I believe this is her fifth book. She carries such an open, loving energy—it’s easy to understand why her work centers on healing through our connection with pets. She truly is a gift.

At nearly every shoot, something magical happens: we end up photographing other people’s animals who wander into the moment—dogs, rabbits, and everything in between. It’s as if they’re drawn to her energy too.
