📚📕4th and 5th grade had a GREAT time during our Book Tasting! 📘Students had the opportunity to dive into different genres and explore books they might not normally choose to read. Realistic fiction, mystery, and historical fiction seemed to be the top favorites! I loved seeing the students excitement as they discovered new books and shared their interests with one another. Hopefully, everyone found a new genre or book that sparked their interest and made them excited to keep reading! We wrapped up our Book Tasting with some tasty treats and lots of smiles!

PJ day!

We started off Red Ribbon Week wearing 🔺️RED🔻

Preschool students were working to improve their fine motor skills by using tweezers to pick up pom-pom balls.

In observance of Constitution Day on September 17th, 6th-8th graders performed a Reader's Theater skit called
"The Constitutional Convention" for the entire school at our assembly last Friday. Students enjoyed the experience and were able to practice perfecting their public speaking skills. They also enjoyed getting laughs from the audience. I am very proud of them for their wonderful performance and I hope to do more!

It was a fun, successful, first day in preschool. There were no tears from students and none that we know of from adults. 😉
