the most lovely spring wedding day to officially kick off this 2026 season at with maddy + hunter. everything greened up just in time to spend lots of time mingling in the courtyard + the inside lighting + decor was just as lovely. so so so many big, happy smiles all day long.

record image count for this lifestyle gallery - i just could not get enough of this cutie fam ! especially the sister girls, who really showed off their sweet + silly charm for the camera. baby J is so, so loved - and will certainly grow up in a house with no dull moments, outdoor adventures + snuggly cuddle piles galore. definitely hoping to capture this crew again as these kiddos grow. ♥️

i have been to the highlands too many times to count - but never with someone like who knows so much about plants [ she specializes in establishing community gardens around GR // helping people creative their own MI native plant gardens + landscaping at home ] ! learning from people i work with is such a fun bonus perk of this job.

loved walking the trails with this adventurous duo - chatting nature things, travel wedding plans, homeownership problems, living in other countries, surgery recoveries + somehow, so much more. and between all that conversation - capturing their undeniable love + adoration for each other. not to mention - my first session picnic, where they even shared their incredibly delicious blackberries. this was the most perfect session to kick off this spring // early summer season + i cannot wait for more of this goodness in the coming months.

POV : you book a surprise family session for your parents for their anniversary, on their anniversary + it’s just…so great. ♥️

mama’s belly was made into a 90’s era stick on masterpiece // a track for a prized digger truck for this session because boys are fun + silly + lucky for this fam, another brother is on the way. 🩵

family vacation session inquiries have been rolling in quite a bit lately + i am here for it ! planning a vacation with your whole family is no easy thing to coordinate + pull off - so why not reward all of your hard work with photos [ outside of your phone camera roll ] to remember it all ?

loved spending a morning with these family vacationers at a new-to-me location in south haven on Lake Michigan where they were staying near last year.

with my extended family sessions - we make sure to capture group photos, individual family photos + grandparent // grandkid photos - along with any other combinations you would like [ plus lots of cute in-between moments, too ]. whether you are staycationing or vacationing - let’s make some memories:)

i usually tell parents to worry less about ‘perfect lighting’ + more about just shooting when their littles are the happiest - so this session meant up with the sunrise for this little guy ! he was the happiest, smiliest boy AND we got some gorgeous first morning light - all before a morning nap. well worth the early wake up call, indeed.

i don’t think i have ever met a more smiley, animated + alert four week old than mr. beckett boy ! but honestly, given how genuinely cheerful + sweet his parents are - i am not really surprised he has that same disposition. what an adorable trio they are, my goodness:)

these two nature lovers brought their families together for a perfect september weekend in northern michigan at to celebrate their next adventure - gettin’ married ! couldn’t have picked a better day or setting - it was warm, glowy + just on the edge of fall. from start to finish there was so much togetherness + it felt like everyone was truly present for each moment. one thing i really just loved working with them was the laid-back, casual, fun vibe + approach these two bring everywhere they go - and that didn’t change on their wedding day. truly just a joy to be around. alsooooo big bonus points to them being the first people i’ve known outside of my husband to really love red dirt country + especially the . it was even their recessional song, which was a treat for me.
