4th Annual Women in Trades: Breaking Barriers, Building Futures 🔧✨

At McGovern Automotive Group, we're committed to breaking barriers, challenging stereotypes, and creating opportunities for the next generation.

We were proud to host our 4th Annual Women in Trades event at Toyota of Nashua, bringing together young women for a day of hands-on learning, career exploration, and inspiration.

In partnership with Girls Inc., whose mission is to inspire girls to be Strong, Smart, and Bold, participants from their Nashua Center had the opportunity to explore exciting careers in the automotive industry and beyond.

Throughout the day, the girls gained valuable life and vehicle maintenance skills, including:

🔧 Replacing wiper blades
🚗 Changing a flat tire
💡 Replacing a light bulb
📖 Understanding essential vehicle ownership basics

These practical experiences help build confidence, independence, and awareness of the many opportunities available in skilled trades.

The learning continued with local law enforcement officers, including several inspiring women in uniform, who shared their experiences and provided an inside look at careers in public service.

And of course, the amazing team at the Toyota of Nashua Café kept everyone energized with delicious food, all enjoyed under beautiful summer skies! ☀️🌭🍔🍦
