‼️PSA: Highlights don’t always have to be bright blonde! ‼️

This beauty wanted to brighten up her look with highlights, and we were cutting through a plum colored box dye. I lifted as light as I felt comfortable going without damaging her hair, added some PH bonder, a shadow root and some lowlites, a toner, and her look was freshened up for fall! 🍂🍁

These ribbons of color turned out beautifully. But let this be a lesson, we don’t always know how light we will be able to get you when we are lifting through box dye!
