Snowcap Cottages

Cottages are located in Tanzania at Nalemoru / Rongai, North East of Mt. Kilimanjaro (1900m). They are along the Naleimoru River in the planted forests of Rongai where you can enjoy extreme scenery from every corner. The Cottages have double rooms self-contain with hot shower. Snow Cap Cottages has a restaurant that offers buffet for mountain climbers and also a good menu with an excellent cuisine. The fireplace is located in the bar where a variety of drinks are available. There is television room for local and international news whenever one is interested. From the beautiful grounds of Snow Cap you can enjoy a close view of KIBO & MAWENZI peaks. The Cottages are very ideal for climbers of Mt. Kilimanjaro via Rongai route. You will always benefit from the tranquility of the nights and certainly remember them. It is at the same time an ideal place for acclimatization during which time you can also trek to neighborhood villages and other natural sights. There is also a separate camping site with bath and toilet facilities,hot shower. Our rates are quite reasonable for both residents and non residents. THE WAY TO SNOW CAP COTTAGES

From Moshi you drive along Marangu road to Tarakea border town (approx.2hrs). From Tarakea you proceed along the Rongai road to Nalemoru village where the Cottages are located. (Approx. 20mins) The distance from the cottages to Rongai/Nalemoru National Park gate is 200 Meters. The Distance from Loitoktok town of Kenya to the cottages is 20 Minutes.
