This National Day, our students had fun introducing some of Singapore’s iconic local dishes—using different languages, just as we do in everyday Singapore. 🇸🇬❤️

Dressed in 汉服, we were reminded that teaching Chinese is more than helping children master a language—it is about passing on the beauty of our culture, our heritage, and the values behind every story and every character.

As educators, we continue to learn, reflect, and grow together, so that every lesson becomes more meaningful, every classroom more inspiring, and every child feels connected to the richness of Chinese culture.

We hope that when our students see their teachers embracing these traditions, they’ll become curious, inspired, and proud to explore the beauty of Chinese culture alongside us.

🎭✍️ June Composition Camp has come to an end!

Over the past five days, our classrooms were filled with laughter, imagination, and countless memorable moments.

Instead of simply teaching students what to write, we invited them to step into the story.

Through drama activities, role-playing, and guided performances, students became the characters themselves — experiencing emotions, understanding relationships, and uncovering the motivations behind each action. What was once a writing topic on paper transformed into a living, breathing experience.

When children can see the scene, feel the emotions, and understand the characters, writing becomes much more natural and meaningful.

The result? More confident writers, richer ideas, stronger expressions, and most importantly, children who genuinely enjoyed the writing process. 🖊️

Thank you to all our students for their enthusiasm, creativity, and courage to participate. Watching them grow in confidence throughout the week has been the greatest reward for our HAO teachers.

At 好学堂, we do not simply teach students how to write.
We help them experience, feel, think, and express.
