16 MedTech startups from Poland. 4 days in Singapore. One question: can we make it here?

In September, we took them beyond the slide deck and into the ecosystem: the Centre for Healthcare Innovation, Gleneagles Hospital, ACE and A*STAR. They also had workshops on HSA pathways and go-to-market, a one-on-one with an operator or investor who has scaled healthtech in the region, and a Demo Day in front of 60+ guests.

By the end of the week, the question had changed from "how big is the market?" to "who do we talk to next?"

That's what market entry should feel like.

Bringing a cohort or delegation into Southeast Asia? Let's talk.

94% of companies in SEA are investing in AI.

Almost none of them own the story.

The brands cutting through the noise this year aren't the ones with the best technology. They're the ones that figured out what they stand for — and made sure the ecosystem heard it.

Seoul just ranked #1 globally for AI implementation. Singapore came in at #5.

Rankings like that aren't just about capability. They're about narrative. The markets that get named first are the ones that showed up in the right conversation first.

Is your company in that conversation — or being defined by someone else?

If you want to work with e27 to get your brand into that conversation, we'd love to hear from you.

How Hong Kong solves tech's hardest problem: the final mile to market | e27 05/10/2026

An IPO is a test, not the destination. 🎯

Hong Kong’s Chapter 18A and 18C listing regimes give biotech and specialist tech companies a route to public markets before they meet conventional profit or revenue thresholds, and returns from those listings can be recycled into the next generation of startups.

For HKSTP, the aim is bigger than the next unicorn or IPO. It is proving that research, capital, manufacturing and market access can be joined into a repeatable system, a lesson Southeast Asia is watching closely.

Q4 is the quarter most marketing teams describe as "suddenly urgent."

Budget needs to land before December 31. Campaigns that should have launched in October end up launching in November. And by the time approvals are done, the audience has already mentally checked out for the year.

The brands we're seeing cut through this aren't doing anything radical. They're just moving earlier.

A sponsored article that positions them in the conversation before the market closes. A newsletter feature that reaches the right people in the right moment. A presence built in October that still pays off in January.

At e27, we work with brands looking to reach founders, investors, and corporate decision-makers across Southeast Asia's tech ecosystem. We have a small number of Q4 slots remaining.

If you're a brand thinking about visibility before year-end — or a marketing lead who wants to know what's still available — we'd love to share what's working right now.

Startups don’t scale because investors like a pitch deck. They scale because customers buy. 🏭🤝

That thinking sits behind the Co-Development & Investment Conference (CDIC), a six-day programme spanning Hong Kong, Dongguan and Hangzhou. It brings founders, investors and industry together in a “Tri-Party Ecosystem”, pairing capital with commercial matching.

Each city plays a role: Hong Kong for capital and international connectivity, Dongguan for manufacturing and supply chains, and Hangzhou for another major technology and R&D cluster.

How HKSTP's quarter-century journey offers insights for Asia's innovation ecosystems | e27 02/10/2026

What can Southeast Asia’s tech hubs learn from Hong Kong’s 25-year journey? 🤝

Singapore is investing in AI and biotech. Malaysia wants a bigger role in semiconductors. Vietnam is courting electronics and EV investment. Indonesia is building on nickel and batteries.

The takeaway is not to copy Hong Kong wholesale. It is that ecosystems scale when the gaps between research, production, capital and customers are closed on purpose. For HKSTP, the next 25 years are about helping build companies that can anchor global supply chains, not just produce unicorns.

Malaysia has the data centres, the GPUs and the policy push. The harder question is what founders and tech leaders actually build on top of them.

On 28 October, e27 and Bitdeer AI are hosting a closed-door session in Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia's AI Advantage: From Infrastructure to Innovation.

It's built for founders, CTOs and senior leaders making real AI infrastructure decisions on compute, cost, latency and data residency, and turning those decisions into business results.

You'll hear from:
🎙️ Mohan Belani, CEO & Co-founder, e27 (Moderator)
🎙️ Retainna Lin, Vice President, Bitdeer AI
🎙️ Kevin Brockland, CFA, Founder & Managing Partner, Indelible Ventures..plus more speakers to be announced.

After the panel, roundtable breakouts give you room to trade notes with peers on what's working and what isn't.

How Hong Kong solves tech's hardest problem: the final mile to market | e27 24/09/2026

For many tech startups, the hardest part isn’t invention. It’s everything that comes after. 🚀

A lab breakthrough or a working prototype proves a product can exist, not that a company can scale. That takes paying customers, patient capital, production partners, regulatory support and, eventually, access to public markets.

HKSTP is positioning Hong Kong as one of Asia’s key bridges across that gap, working on the entire commercialisation chain rather than simply funding more startups.
