Canvas, framed canvas, framed poster, HD metal or metallic?

Most people pick by price. The right way is photo first, then light, then room. So we built a free tool that asks the six questions we ask every customer and picks for you, with the price and the size to order.

One minute. No account. Runs in your browser. Link in bio, under Tools.

Hung too high, too small. That is the wall art mistake we see most, and it is an easy fix.

Three rules:
1. Two thirds of the furniture width.
2. Centre at 150 cm from the floor.
3. Bottom edge 15 to 25 cm above the sofa.

For a three-seater that means an A0 canvas or a 30x40 inch framed canvas, not a 12R.

Room-by-room sizes for HDB and condo walls are in the guide, plus a free planner that draws your wall to scale. Link in bio.

6 days left. Then it’s over. ⏳

End of an era. Ricoh confirmed this week that every current Pentax K-series DSLR is discontinued, the KF and the K-1 Mark II being the last two. They were the last major DSLR line still in production.

So what comes after the DSLR? Swipe for the short version:
- Mirrorless is now the default. Canon, Nikon and Sony had already moved on, and the lenses are where the money goes.
- Retro is back. OM System launched a new PEN this week with film-era looks. Cameras that feel like cameras are selling again.
- Pentax isn’t finished. Ricoh says a “new concept” K-mount SLR is in development, with no date yet.
- Your photos outlive the camera. Whatever you shoot next, the files from the old one only survive if you print them.

If you’ve shot on a DSLR any time in the last 20 years, the best photos you ever took are probably still on a memory card or an old hard drive. Before you move on to a new system, bring those files in. A 4R print is $0.35 and a photobook fits a whole decade on one shelf. We’ll check the files, correct the colour and print them on real photo paper.

Bought the IKEA frame first, now stuck on what size to print? 🖼

Here’s the trap: a 30×40 RIBBA with the mat IN shows a 21×30 photo. Print 30×40 and you’re reaching for scissors.

We made the full cheat sheet — every RIBBA size → the exact print that fits, mat in or mat out. Plus IKEA-size prints cut to the exact cm, from $5.90.

Link in bio 👆 or WhatsApp us a photo of your frame and we’ll tell you the size.
