LEGO Parents’ Night Out Fun at Freedom Day School!

We had an AWESOME time at our LEGO-themed Parents’ Night Out last weekend! Our students stayed busy all evening with so many creative and fun activities!

They painted with LEGOs and made colorful LEGO prints 🎨, created their very own mini figures, colored LEGO pictures, and spent lots of time building amazing creations with friends. 🧱

The fun didn’t stop there! Students also enjoyed playing outside on the playground, blowing bubbles, drawing with chalk, eating pizza, and winding down with The LEGO Movie! 🍕🎬

To top off the night, everyone decorated cookies to look like LEGOs and enjoyed their yummy creations! 🍪

We are so thankful for these special nights filled with laughter, friendship, creativity, and fun in a safe, loving environment. Thank you to all of our amazing families for letting us spend the evening with your little builders!

🌻 Muffins with Moms at Freedom Day School 🌻

Yesterday morning, Freedom Church’s halls bloomed with sunshine, smiles, and sweet moments during our Muffins with Moms celebration! From delicious muffins, warm coffee, and juice-to warm hugs, it was a beautiful way to honor the amazing moms, grandmas, aunties, and mother figures who help our little sunflowers grow tall every day.

Our sunflower theme reminded us of God’s love and how faith, kindness, and encouragement help each child and student shine brightly. Just like sunflowers turn toward the sun, we pray our students always turn toward His light as they continue to grow in wisdom, love, and purpose.

Heartfelt moments came when students proudly gave their moms their special Mother’s Day gifts, crafts, and art they and their teachers worked on throughout the past week. The joy, surprise, and hugs shared made the morning even more meaningful and memorable.

Thank you to all the families who joined us and made the celebration so special. Your presence filled our school with joy and blessings!

🌼✌️ Day 4, the final day of Teacher Appreciation Week at Freedom Day School, was far out in the best way possible with a groovy Flower Power celebration! 🌸🚌💛

Our amazing teachers were showered with beautiful flowers from students, families, and admin staff, filling the day with color, kindness, and gratitude. Every flower and bouquet was a reminder of the love our school community has for the educators who help our students bloom each and every day. 🌷

The celebration continued with a delicious lunch catered by Dog & Duck Family Pubs provided by our admin team, followed by a sweet dessert bar that added the perfect finishing touch to an incredible week of appreciation. 🍰

To our teachers: thank you for being the steady hearts, encouraging voices, and guiding lights our students need. You do so much more than teach lessons from a curriculum. You build confidence, spark curiosity, dry tears, celebrate victories, and create a place where children feel safe, valued, and loved. Your work is a reflection of God’s love and the impact you make reaches far beyond the classroom walls. We are thankful for the prayers you pray, the faith you model, and the Christ-centered foundation you help build in the lives of our students each day at FDS.

Freedom Day School is brighter, stronger, and more joyful because of each of you. We appreciate you more than words can say. 🌼💙

🍪 Day 3 of Teacher Appreciation Week at Freedom Day School was packed with sweet surprises and sunshine-in-a-bag energy!

Our students and families spoiled our incredible teachers with delicious snacks and treats throughout the day, turning classrooms and hallways into little pockets of celebration. From tasty goodies to thoughtful gestures, every bite carried a big “thank you” for the love, patience, and dedication our teachers pour into FDS each day.

To top it all off, our admin team, with the amazing help of some of our kind FDS families, gifted our staff with personalized beach bags filled with goodies for a relaxing day by the beach or pool! 🏖️☀️ From pampering treats to summer essentials, these bags were a small reminder that our teachers deserve time to unwind, recharge, and be celebrated too!

We are so grateful for a community that shows up with such generosity and heart. Freedom Day School is so blessed to have the amazing team we do!

🍎 Teacher Appreciation Week – Day 2! ✨

Yesterday was another fun and meaningful day celebrating our amazing teachers at Freedom Day School!

Our students made the most creative and colorful pictures and helped write the sweetest notes for their teachers. 🎨💌 These thoughtful gifts brought so many smiles and were such a special reminder of the love shared in our classrooms each day!

The admin team also brought in the wonderful ladies with the Holy City Cafecito Cart to treat our teachers and staff to *unlimited* coffee and specialty drinks all morning long! ☕ Teachers also enjoyed delicious donuts from Duck Donuts 🍩 making the day even sweeter!

We are so thankful for our incredible teachers who pour the love of Jesus into the hearts of our students every single day.

We kicked off FDS Teacher Appreciation Week today in such a fun way! 🎉 Today our students showed their love by wearing their teacher’s favorite colors—what a bright and joyful way to start the week!

Our teachers were also treated to a delicious Dip Bar, made possible by the generous donations and support from our amazing FDS families. 🥨🧀🍓 Thank you for helping us make our staff feel so loved and appreciated!

Today we proudly wore purple to celebrate and honor our amazing military students during Month of the Military Child!

These students show strength, courage, and resilience in such special ways, and we are so thankful for each one of them.

At Freedom Day School, we are incredibly grateful for our military families and the sacrifices they make to serve our country. Your support, dedication, and commitment do not go unnoticed. 🇺🇸

FDS Spirit Wear Day!

We love seeing our Freedom Day School spirit shining bright! ✨

Last week our students and staff showed off their FDS pride by wearing their FDS spirit wear t-shirts, and it brought so much joy to our hallways!

From big smiles to lots of school pride, it was a fun way to celebrate being part of such a special community.

We are so thankful for each of our students and families who make FDS such a wonderful place to learn, grow, and share God’s love each day. ✝️
