Honiara's iconic Lawson Tama Stadium will play host as the venue for a large expansive Health Expo from Monday May 11 to Saturday May 16. This is a one of a kind event bringing in almost 700 health professionals from across Solomon Islands and overseas.

Hello everyone. A belated message from your friendly Christian Bookstore; Adventist Book Centre, Honiara SI.

This weekend the Christian community in Solomon Islands celebrate Easter. And so for this long weekend public holiday, the Bookshop will open on the following times.

Friday 9am to 12pm. Sabbath night 1 hour only from 7pm to 8pm especially for Kukum Ch members. Sunday we will open from 9am to 12pm. Monday close. We will open normally from Tuesday onward. Thank you for taking note of the following opening times and appreciate your understanding.

Our first ever Sabbath School Summit for Honiara and GPlains Districts of the SDA Church SI went very well today and finished with a high note.

Co hosted by the Discipleship and Evangelism Department of the SDA Church and the Adventist Book Centre, held at the Media Hall of the SI Nat Stadium KGVI. We thank pastors Linray Tutuo GS and Newton Langai our guests for powerful insights in your presentations and devotional.

We also would like to thank all elders and local church sabbath school leaders who participated. Your fruitful discussion and insights help alot in our amanagement and monitoring of distributorship of all SS resources.

There will be a next time. So keep faithful and follow through with decisions made at your group discussions.

It has been awhile since we promote some of our products. There has been so many happenings and events which made us almost lose track of this page. Our sincere apologies.

We will inform you of some of what has happened over the last two months in our next post. For this one, we would like to promote an up coming event for this weekend. The SIM Sabbath School Summit on Sunday March 28, 2026. Co hosted by the Sabbath School Dept of SIM and Adventist Book Centre (ABC)

The following are invited from the 3 Honiara districts and GPlains district. Pastors, elder responsible for Sabb Sch, Supt, senior SS leaders, SS secretaries and treasurers. Even if the whole team is not available, at least a church officer (or two) of the above designation must attend. Please bring with you your local church SS membership and your senior pacific edition lesson standing order.

You must confirm your attendance (how many ba kam) to us at the Bookshop by Friday. No confirmation means, you're not coming. The Summit is free!

This is a very important meeting for the SDA Church in Solomon Islands and so we expect your full cooperation.

Venue is the Media Hall at the SI National Stadium KGVI in Honiara. Starting 9am sharp. You must all arrive by 8am.

As we come to the close of another year, the management and staff would to register our appreciation and thankfulness to the many stakeholders, institutions and faithful customers who made our service worthwhile.

To God Almighty the One Supreme Being the Alpha and Omega, Beginning and the End of all this and that we do to establish His Kingdom of Grace in this world. Everything we distribute from our Shop bear His Signature. For in Him we move and have our being. Glory Honor Power and Majesty belongs to Him Alone. Hallelujah!

This is a reminber to all our faithful customers patrons and institutions. The Adventist Book Centre Honiara SI and Gizo, Western Province will close for business on Thursday December 25 for Xmas and New Year holiday. And will open again on Monday January 5, 2026.

This is very important for us to do our year end Stock Take. And so we appeal for understanding from everyone to come at the right times so we can be able to complete our job in good time; ready to open doors in 2026.
