On Tuesday, June 2, 2026, we are incredibly proud to celebrate the brilliant students from Palau High School who have successfully completed their Career Practicum and Mentoring Programs in partnership with Surangel and Sons Company!

For the past several weeks, our hallways and jobsites have been filled with the energy of Palau High School students participating in our Career Mentoring and Practicum Programs. Through this partnership, these students gained invaluable, real-world industry experience across our diverse operations. We are incredibly proud of the growth, discipline, and enthusiasm they displayed.

Yesterday, May 19th, we had a wonderful time with the executive team from Bank of Hawaii! We enjoyed a great lunch together, followed by a quick tour of Surangel’s Supercenter Airai.

From the depths of our hearts, we say mesulang, thank you to everyone who surrounded us with love.

To those who crossed oceans to stand with us, you turned distance into an embrace.

To doctors, nurses, caregivers, and blood donors, you gave your skill, your strength, and even your very blood. You were his hands and feet when he could not stand.

To the church family, choirs, musicians, pallbearers, cooks, drivers, and every quiet hand behind the scenes, your labor was the ground beneath our feet.

To the leaders of our Republic and states, the Honor Guard, the U.S. military, chiefs and elders, you clothed him in dignity we will never forget.

To Surangel & Sons employees who lined the roads in red, to neighbors who waved, wept, or bowed, you turned that road into a river of honor. And to Airai State, who named Surangel Road in his memory, every drive will remind us of a heart that served his nation.

We do not thank you lightly; we thank you as he would have, pointing always to God.

We do not say goodbye forever. Our father is asleep in Jesus, resting in the sure hope that when the trumpet sounds, the dead in Christ shall rise.

At our core, we believe in investing in the next generation of Palauan professionals. Today, we’re putting the spotlight on Franc Oiterong, our Auto Mechanic Helper, who represents the very best of our local youth! 🌟

Franc joined our team full-time on May 27, 2024, transitioning seamlessly from student to professional immediately following his graduation from Palau High School. His success is a testament to the power of the PHS career practicum and mentoring programs.

By participating in these work-based activities at Ksau’s Motors, Franc didn't just learn about engines—he learn. We want to give a huge "Mesulang" to Sam at Ksau’s Motors for his vital role in this journey. By opening his doors to students, Sam helps bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application.
