A beautiful view from Mt Olive of the entire Old City.
Al-Aqsa is OUR holy site, and no one should be allowed to intimidate us into abandoning it. Frankly, if Muslims abandon al-Aqsa, this will be used as propaganda by the Occupiers: that since Muslims are not coming to the Sacred Land, they should be allowed to acquire more land.
Additionally, our brothers and sisters in Jerusalem and Palestine need our support, both financially and morally. By Allah! Wherever we went the people were SO happy to see us, and more than one person said to our group, 'Please go back and tell other Muslims they need to come here! We need them!'
Afterwards, we went to Madinah and Makkah. The crowds there were amazing. Jam-packed to capacity and even more. But do you realize that in al-Aqsa, there were barely five to six lines during the Fard prayers? Most of the Masjid was empty - and this, during holiday season.
WE CANNOT AFFORD TO ABANDON AL-AQSA! For those who can politically and financically go, be brave, and risk the trip. Even if you are denied entry, there is wisdom in that, and you shall get your reward from Allah.
