Pharmacists from our network spent the afternoon with facilitator Angiemille Latorre of Seriously Creative. Together, they worked through a structured approach to problem solving rooted in Creative Problem Solving and human-centered design. The goal was simple: to look past the quick fix and address what keeps the fires starting in the first place.

The Growth Series was designed as a working space rather than a lecture hall, where pharmacists build tools they can bring back to their teams. The day closed with a happy hour, giving colleagues time to keep the conversation going.

Thank you to every pharmacist who joined us, and to Angiemille for leading such a practical session.

The award in the Community Relations category goes to Oasis Santurce, its Connections and Mixers programs, and to the high-impact organizations that call it home. You are the ones moving ideas forward, opening new doors, and proving what's possible when purpose and ambition share the same room. This award reflects what you build every day.

The award in the Publications category goes to our published book 'Art in our DNA' and to the Puerto Rican artists whose work lives in its pages. Your murals turned our spaces into stories of identity, resilience, and pride. This award reflects your talent and your voice.

We created the space. We published the book. But the meaning came from you.

Pharmacists are often the first person a patient talks to and the last one to make sure care actually happens.

They catch what others miss. They explain what paperwork can't. They turn a prescription into an actual outcome.

Former Governor Sila María Calderón opened the program with a conversation on community development, poverty reduction, and entrepreneurship as tools for social and economic progress in Puerto Rico the first of several conversations this season dedicated to the leaders and organizations shaping the third sector's impact across the island.
