El Pretexto es un lugar donde pensadores, emprendedores y muchas colaboraciones coinciden. El Pretexto is a life’s undertaking. It is a peaceful space that will combine a small integrated agro-ecological farming system, with a farm stay at two villas and a large deck with different cooking methods for guest, chefs and aficionados to create new culinary ideas with the products of the kitchen garden and close by farms. El Pretexto is a place where thinkers, doers and collaborations collide.

Seven On the Road’s later and a rollercoaster of emotions, we officially finished this 3rd season grateful for all the experiences lived, all the good food shared and the great guests who were part of this journey. Our aim is to celebrate the Puerto Rican countryside and the great talent of our food system: farmers, fishermen, chefs and sommeliers. Thank you for saying yes to a third season and flying from NY for it, for your support all these years and joining us for this wonderful closing, .gal for also saying yes to the idea and all those beautiful w**e pairings from , to for welcoming us to, and connecting us with, inspiring corners of our Island, to Manuel and El Pretexto’s team, partner and family that support us from the idea to action. Thank you! 🙏🏼 | Tras siete On the Road y una montaña rusa de emociones, hemos finalizado oficialmente nuestra tercera temporada, agradecidos por todas las experiencias vividas, la buena comida compartida y los maravillosos invitados que formaron parte de este viaje. Turning a neglected basement into a w**e cellar has been one of those dreams pushed aside due to all the more pressing investments and fixings that we have been doing for the last 9 years but seeing it slowly come to life has been a wonderful experience.
