Confetti Card Studio

There’s something so special about a cosy little Christmas scene!

Today I’m sharing a card made with the beautiful Neutral Noel Suite from Stampin’ Up!

I’ve been wanting this suite since the catalogue was released. Little houses, wreaths, trees and touches of gold are some of my favourite Christmas elements, so it was right up my alley!

For this design, I’ve combined textured Basic Beige cardstock, gold-patterned paper and a Mossy Meadow die-cut wreath to create the feeling of looking through a leafy window. The little houses and deer finish the scene beautifully, and I love how the sentiment, “from our home to yours”, brings it all together.

I’ve also shared a few tips in my latest video to help you get a better cut with those intricate dies.

Would you use this neutral colour combination for your Christmas cards, or do you prefer the traditional reds and greens?

You can watch the video and find the tutorial on my blog. And if you love cardmaking inspiration, sign up for my newsletter to have my latest project videos delivered straight to your inbox every fortnight.

Oh no!! The Christmas paper for this class is on low inventory! To secure a kit please let me know today, we'll sort the payment later. Class on Saturday 24th October (Labour Weekend)

Join me live at 1.30pm for an easel card made with Woodland Wishes, my purchase from the stamp sale a couple of weeks ago.

Finished packing the car - it's all go for tomorrow's destash.

A little white ink, a touch of vellum and some beautiful gold foil…

Today I’m sharing an Elegantly Wrapped Christmas Card that combines a simple repeat-stamping technique with a touch of Christmas sparkle.

I’ve used white Craft Ink on Crumb Cake cardstock to create the background, then added vellum and a hot-foiled sentiment.

And the design was inspired by a card Martin Stone created six years ago. I love how an older card can still spark a new idea when we give it a fresh twist with our current supplies.

I've featured the video showing you how I created the card, including my first slightly nerve-wracking attempt at hot foiling live on Facebook!

Watch the video and let me know what you think. Would you give this repeat-stamping technique a try?

This little cutie has made it into my cart! 🌲

Meet Woodland Wishes — a fun mix of woodland animals and Christmas sentiments. I especially love the little tree of animals. How cute would that be as the focal point on a Christmas card?

These two cards from Stampin’ Up! have definitely convinced me I need this set in my collection! And there’s a bonus… Woodland Wishes is currently 15% off! 🎄

The selected stamp set sale finishes Friday, so there’s still time to grab a favourite at the sale price.
