It’s probably time we formally introduced ourselves!

The first homes on the John Street Development are getting close to completion and things are starting to take shape!
With installation of the GIB nearly completed across the 3 homes, the finishing trades are working their way through, and the homes are quickly becoming market-ready.
The main focus for the Ryan Thomas Custom Construction Team has been on the steel long-run cladding – it’s been keeping the Crew busy.
With scaffold dismantle imminent, it’ll be great to see the teams hard work in all its glory.

From the ground up… and we mean it.
It’s not just a flippant phrase — it’s a core focus for our team. We know our craft every step of the way and love getting stuck into the detail.
When it comes to foundations and formwork, we know our stuff. It’s a hard grind — lasers, shovels, diggers, dirt, steel, linings, pods, pipes and plenty of measuring.
There’s a lot of work hidden in a finished foundation before concrete even arrives on site.
We don’t sub it out. We do it ourselves, know it inside out, and take pride in getting it right from the ground up.

Twin Garage Project - Mount Victoria
If garages can be described as beautiful, this is certainly one of them.
What started as a simple concrete path cut into the hillside has been transformed into secure access to the home, two purpose-built garages, and finished patio spaces above. Quite the transformation!

We love getting involved in the design and planning stage 📐
It’s a great chance to work alongside our clients and bring a practical building perspective to the plans. Sometimes the smallest details, a pitched ceiling, overheight doorways or wider hallways, can make the biggest difference to how a home feels and flows.
Getting involved early means we can work through what’s practical, what works for a clients budget, and get those important details right from the start.
Got a renovation or new build in mind? We’d love to chat!

What a relief to have a roof on in winter! 🏠
It’s a significant milestone on a new build, protecting the frames and crew from the weather.
The crew hit the ground running on the John Street Development — slabs down to roofs up in just four weeks. An impressive turnaround, and a real testament to the crew’s perseverance, teamwork and productivity.
Looking forward to getting stuck into the next stage, with a little less Wellington weather to contend with.
