Bohemian Rattery NZ - Registered Breeder

We breed to improve the health of our lines and chose lovely temperament over colour & markings. ADOPTION - Please read carefully

If you are interested in adopting rats from us, please answer all the pre-adoption questions by following the link below:

By completing this form, you will go on to our waiting list for upcoming litters. Please note that we sometimes have (or rescue) older rats that need loving homes. If you are interested in adopting unwanted rats or rats in need, please message us or email [email protected] for more info. Once a new litter is born we will be in touch with those on the waiting list to see who is still interested in adopting. We cannot guarantee that there will be enough babies for everyone on the waiting list and we have the right to decline an adopter if we don’t believe a home is suitable for our rats. To ensure the welfare of our rats, we expect every adopter to sign our Adopter's Contract as well as photos of their cage set-ups 2 weeks before they go to their forever homes. Please be aware that all our babies have to go in pairs of the same s*x. Babies are ready to go to their forever homes once they are 8 -10 weeks old to ensure they are in excellent health. Please note that we will no longer send our bubs by pet transport. If you live outside of Wellington, you will have to either organise somebody to pick them up for you or find ratties closer to your location. Thank you for taking the time to read this and welcome to Bohemian Rattery in Wellington!
