Our truck and trailer have been busy around the region lately, keeping the water flowing for a couple of important jobs!

We’re currently supplying water for power pylon refurbishment projects in the Manawatū, as well as helping out with a civil job in Horowhenua, and domestic water deliveries as well.

So if you’ve spotted our tankers out and about outside the Wellington region, now you know what we’ve been up to! 👋

Bulk Water Transport’s IVECO T-WAY 510hp 8x4 carries a specialist Hydrovac unit for construction-site excavation work. Water loosens the material, while the vacuum system removes it from the excavation and into the tank.

It is a serious setup for demanding site work, built on the heavy-duty T-WAY platform.

🚚 Thursday Truck Highlight 🚚

Today’s highlight is our Isuzu N‑Series tanker 2WATER — a medium size off‑road tanker that spends a lot of its time in the commercial hire fleet. Built for dust suppression and site support, it’s a truck that really shines when things dry out.

This vehicle can be spotted out and about with its easy to spot green tank, spraying dust, supporting busy work sites, and tackling rough terrain with ease. Tough, capable, and always ready to roll when conditions call for it.

🚛Thursday Truck Highlight 🚛

Wrapping up our three‑week Foton showcase, this Thursday’s highlight vehicle is our Foton Auman QJA275. The largest of our trio of Fotons, it is another valuable unit that moves seamlessly between hire work and core water operations - supporting commercial clients one day and jumping back into pipeline chlorination, barrier filling, or water delivery the next. Its heavier duty capability makes it suitable for those bigger jobs that don't want a full size tanker, but need something a little larger and highly capable.

We are thrilled to share that Bulk Water Transport has been awarded SiteWise Gold accreditation!

Getting here took months of documentation and review, managing director Glen going through every single policy and procedure, and a team who actually work to these standards on the ground, day in day out.

Huge thanks to our admin team who spent hours behind the scenes pulling everything together, to Glen for his painstaking work, and to our staff for living it out on the job every day. Health and safety is a crucial aspect of everything we do here at Bulk Water, so it's fantastic to get official recognition of our commitment in this space.

The hydrovac has been booked and busy, finishing off last week with a massive two days on a pond clean-out for Goldfish Farm Whitemans Valley. 20 loads later, the pond was done. 🐟

Mucky, tough work, waders on and up to our waists in it, but the hydrovac thrived and the crew wouldn't have had it any other way.

We've worked around native fish plenty of times, but goldfish were a whole new experience! Job and Catharina really care about their goldfish, and were amazing to work with. Check out the Goldfish Farm Whitemans Valley website to see them for yourself.

We'll be back for the next pond, and we're fairly sure the staff (yes, even director Glen) will be fighting over who gets the job. We love getting out there and being able to do such cool, rewarding work - and having the right truck for the job makes all the difference.

Week two of our Foton spotlight brings us to our second Aumark, QFU189.

Sitting comfortably between its fleet-mates, this versatile unit is one of our true all-rounders.
