Tongariro Junior Rugby

Training tomorrow see you all there 🙌🏾🤍❤️🖤

Well team, what an awesome night at the Tūrangi Tongariro Sports Foundation awards!🏆

It is my privilege to announce our mighty Tongariro Hornets took home not one, but TWO team awards tonight winning Junior Team of the Year and Fairplay Team of the Year 🐝🏆

Also, a massive congratulations to Elle-Jaye Fletcher-Coles , who took home the Young Sportsperson of the Year award 👏🏽🏆 in recognition of her hard mahi across Rugby, Rugby League and Swimming this year. What an awesome achievement!

These awards are a reflection of the mahi, commitment, sportsmanship and achievements we have all earned together as a team. From our tamariki on the field to our parents, whānau and supporters on the sideline, everyone has played a part in what has been an incredible season💯🤝

A special thank you to Henry and his granddad Russell, and Romeo and his pāpā Moni, for representing our mighty Hornets tonight. We appreciate you guys! 🙌🏽

Finally, what a great way to end what has been an outstanding year🏆

Look after yourselves and no doubt we'll cross paths in the future....
