Food, Family & a Little Bit of Love
Food brings people together. Many years ago, Lennox, my son, showed me a photo of homemade crumpets and asked if we could make them for breakfast. We tweaked the recipe using NZ ingredients, then added berry compote, whipped butter and lots of golden syrup. Now, they’re a weekend regular.

We’re going to make them for Father’s Day (you can make the batter the night before and pop it in the fridge). The compote is optional - we love them just as much with a k**b of butter (quite a large one!) and golden syrup.

We’re hiring! 👩‍🍳 RedKitchen HQ is looking for a full-time Chef to join our Larder team, producing fresh catering & vege prep, with a focus on quality, consistency and presentation.

About the role:
• Full-time, Tuesday-Saturday
• 8 Hour shifts between 5am-3pm
• Larder Catering & Vege Prep
• Production Focused
• Working alongside our wider kitchen and catering team

About you:
We’re looking for a good person who is reliable, works tidy, and is passionate about good food. Chef de Partie or similar kitchen experience is preferred, but overall we are looking for a great addition to our strong team, over experience.
