🍎 Apple Device Revival
Give older iMacs and MacBooks a second life.

Before replacing your old Mac, let Talktechnow assess whether it can be rebuilt for fast, secure, everyday use.

Many older Apple devices still have excellent hardware — great screens, solid keyboards, and reliable performance potential. The problem is often not the hardware itself, but that the device has become too slow, unsupported, or no longer practical with its original operating system.

At Talktechnow, we can assess suitable older Apple devices and help bring them back to life for:

✅ Web browsing
✅ Email and everyday office work
✅ Online banking
✅ Study and research
✅ Home and family use
✅ Shared learning or office spaces

We always start with an assessment first and give practical, honest advice.

If you have an older iMac or MacBook sitting unused, bring it in and let’s see if it can be revived.

♻️ Give school & community devices a second life.

Many schools, trusts, charities, libraries, and community organisations have older laptops, desktops, iMacs, and selected Chromebooks sitting unused — not because the hardware is broken, but because the operating system has become too heavy, outdated, or no longer practical.

The **Talktechnow Device Revival Programme** helps Rotorua organisations assess, refurbish, and reuse suitable devices with clean, secure, education-focused Linux builds.

✅ Assess, refurbish & reuse
✅ Ideal for older laptops, desktops, iMacs & selected Chromebooks
✅ Education-focused builds including Zorin OS Education & Edubuntu
✅ Great for schools, libraries, trusts, training rooms, and community spaces
✅ Start with a small pilot batch before committing to a larger rollout
✅ Honest advice first — if a device is not worth reviving, we’ll tell you
