DO YOUR STAFF AND CLIENTS TRUST YOU?
If not they will filter the information they give you, because of a lack of trust, they will only give you the information that does not anger you, or information they think you want to hear.
If you do not trust your staff they will not give you all the information either, they may leave out information that could make you angry, challenge your thinking, or create an uncomfortable conversation.
As a business leader the information you are getting is downgraded, maybe not entirely true, and so you as a business leader make bad decisions on the incorrect information, particularly because you do not try to validate the information or get information from another source to validate your information and make a great decision.
Trust is important, your team needs to feel safe enough to tell you what is really happening, raise concerns early, admit when something has gone wrong, challenge ideas respectfully, and put accurate information into your CRM.
YOUR CRM IS MORE THAN A DATABASE.
Your CRM should contain valuable business intelligence, client relationships, opportunities, sales history, pipeline, conversations, forecasts and information about your customers.
This information can become part of your intellectual property, your IP.
If you sell your company, buyers are not just buying your products, premises, or customer list, they are buying the value and knowledge that is inside the business.
If your CRM is incomplete, inaccurate, or unreliable, this can reduce the value of your business.
If your business depends entirely on what is inside the owners head, rather than having reliable systems, processes, relationships and information documented, a potential buyer may see more risk.
If your IP is not good the sale of your business will not attract a good price, or people will not buy the company at all, as the value they want, your IP, is not there.
Trust creates better information.
Better information creates better decisions.
Better decisions create better performance.
Strong systems and reliable business intelligence can help create a business that is more valuable, more transferable and less dependent on you.
I can support you and your team in terms of growing trust, improving communication, creating accountability and ensuring the information they put in your CRM is valid.
You cannot make great decisions with information that is not trustworthy.
Lets make sure your team, your CRM and your business are giving you the information you need to succeed.

SALES IS MORE THAN JUST GETTING THE CLIENT ACROSS THE LINE.
Growing sales is key to your success as a salesperson.
Sales growth is key to the success and profitability of your business.
But great sales is about so much more than closing the deal.
It is not simply about your sales process, value proposition, prospecting, overcoming objections and closing.
It is about strategy.
It is about doing your homework.
It is about making conscious decisions about your target market and identifying the right clients for your business.
It is about understanding your clients, their needs, challenges and what really matters to them.
And most importantly, it is about building great relationships based on authenticity, honesty, integrity and genuinely listening.
People buy from people they trust.
So, as we head towards 2027, now is the time to stop, take a step back and ask:
What do I want my sales results to look like in 2027?
Who are the right clients for my business?
Where will my growth come from?
What needs to change in my sales strategy?
What do I need to do consistently to achieve the outcomes I want?
Success doesn't happen by accident.
Success comes from strategically planning for the outcomes you want to achieve β and then executing that plan.
If you are ready to get clear on your 2027 sales strategy, build a stronger pipeline, identify the right opportunities and set yourself and your team up for success, let's have a conversation.
I'd love to chat about how I can support you and your team to achieve great results in 2027.

Workplace Awareness: Hormonal Change at Work
Understanding the signs, supporting your people & creating a more informed workplace
Hormonal changes can affect people at different stages of life β and they can have a real impact on energy, concentration, confidence, sleep, mood, communication and performance at work.
The goal isn't to label people or make assumptions. It is to increase awareness, reduce stigma and give people practical strategies and support.
PERIMENOPAUSE β WHAT IS IT?
Perimenopause is the transition towards menopause. Hormone levels can fluctuate significantly, and symptoms can appear months or even years before periods stop.
Possible signs and symptoms include:
Brain fog and difficulty concentrating
Forgetfulness
Fatigue and reduced energy
Sleep disruption
Hot flushes and night sweats
Changes in mood, anxiety or irritability
Headaches
Changes in menstrual cycle
Reduced confidence
Joint and muscle aches
Changes in motivation
Feeling overwhelmed more easily
Practical strategies:
Prioritise good sleep and recovery
Build regular movement into the day
Stay hydrated and maintain regular nutritious meals
Use calendars, reminders and task lists to support memory and focus
Break large tasks into manageable steps
Schedule demanding work around periods when concentration is strongest
Take short movement or reset breaks
Talk with a healthcare professional if symptoms are affecting daily life
Don't be afraid to ask for reasonable workplace support
MENOPAUSE
Menopause is reached when someone has gone 12 consecutive months without a menstrual period, when there isn't another medical explanation.
Symptoms can continue beyond menopause and may include many of the same physical, emotional and cognitive changes.
The workplace response should be understanding rather than judgement.
Simple adjustments can sometimes make a significant difference β such as flexibility around temperature, breaks, working arrangements, workload planning and access to a quiet or comfortable workspace.
ANDROPAUSE / AGE-RELATED HORMONAL CHANGES IN MEN
Men also experience hormonal changes as they age. Testosterone levels can gradually decline, although this is different from the relatively defined reproductive transition associated with menopause.
Some men may experience:
Reduced energy
Fatigue
Changes in sleep
Reduced concentration
Changes in mood
Reduced motivation
Changes in strength or physical wellbeing
Changes in libido or sexual function
Reduced confidence
These symptoms can have many possible causes, so don't automatically assume they are caused by testosterone or "andropause." Encourage people to speak with an appropriate healthcare professional if symptoms persist or are affecting their wellbeing or work.
HOW CAN LEADERS SUPPORT THEIR TEAMS?
1. Educate without embarrassing people
Make hormonal health part of broader workplace wellbeing conversations.
2. Don't make assumptions
Not everyone experiences the same symptoms β and some people may experience very few.
3. Create psychological safety
People should feel able to say, "I'm struggling today," without fearing they will be judged as less capable.
4. Focus on the person, not the label
Ask: "What would help you work effectively?"
5. Look at practical flexibility
Where possible, consider flexible hours, breaks, temperature control, workspace options or temporary adjustments.
6. Support managers too
Managers need guidance on how to have respectful conversations without becoming healthcare professionals.
7. Protect confidentiality
Personal health information should be treated sensitively and confidentially.
8. Keep performance conversations fair
Support does not mean lowering standards. It means helping people access the strategies and conditions they need to perform at their best.
THE BIGGER MESSAGE
This isn't about making excuses.
It's about creating understanding.
When workplaces understand perimenopause, menopause and age-related hormonal changes, they can help people stay confident, productive, engaged and connected to their teams.
And importantly, this conversation is for everyone β women, men, leaders, managers and colleagues.

What Is ADHD?
ADHD β Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder β is a different way that the brain manages attention, energy, motivation, impulses and organisation.
And importantly, ADHD can look very different from one person to another.
It can affect children, teenagers and adults β men and women β at any stage of life. Some people are diagnosed when they are young, while others may not recognise or understand their ADHD until much later in life.
ADHD isn't simply about being distracted or "hyperactive"
Someone with ADHD may find it difficult to:
Stay focused on tasks that don't interest them
Get started on something, even when they know it needs doing
Finish tasks once the initial excitement has worn off
Organise their day or prioritise what needs to happen first
Remember appointments, conversations or commitments
Manage time and deadlines
Sit still or switch off when their brain is busy
Resist interruptions or distractions
Manage lots of competing demands at once
Move from one task to another
But there can also be real strengths that come with having an ADHD brain.
People with ADHD can be:
Creative and innovative
Curious and enthusiastic
Great problem-solvers
Energetic and spontaneous
Excellent at thinking outside the box
Quick to see opportunities and connections
Highly passionate about the things that interest them
Capable of incredible focus when something really captures their attention
ADHD can look different at different stages of life
For a child, it might look like difficulty sitting still, remembering instructions, completing homework or staying focused in class.
For a teenager, it might involve procrastination, organisation challenges, forgetfulness, impulsivity or feeling overwhelmed by school, friendships and growing responsibilities.
For an adult, it might show up as difficulty managing time, keeping on top of paperwork, remembering appointments, prioritising tasks or switching off from work.
For someone later in life, they may look back and realise that some of the challenges they've experienced for years may have had an explanation.
It's not about being lazy, careless or not trying hard enough
One of the most important things to understand about ADHD is that knowing what you need to do doesn't always mean your brain can easily get you to do it.
Someone can genuinely care, have good intentions and be incredibly capable β and still struggle with organisation, focus, motivation or follow-through.
That's why understanding ADHD can be so valuable.
Rather than asking:
"Why can't you just do it?"
It can be much more helpful to ask:
"What would help you do it?"
Understanding creates opportunity
ADHD doesn't define who someone is.
With the right understanding, strategies, environment and support, people with ADHD can learn how to work with the way their brain operates, rather than constantly feeling that they need to work against it.
Whether you're a parent, teacher, partner, employee, business owner, leader or someone simply trying to understand yourself a little better, greater awareness can make a real difference.
The goal isn't to put people into boxes.
It's about understanding how people work best β and helping them thrive.

RESILIENCE β THE SKILL WE ALL NEED FOR 2027
Business is accelerating at a phenomenal rate.
Markets are changing. Technology is moving quickly. Customer expectations are increasing. Targets, budgets, competition and workloads can all create pressure.
And when people are under pressure, resilience matters.
So, what is resilience?
Resilience is the ability to adapt, recover, refocus and keep moving forward when things don't go according to plan.
It doesn't mean ignoring stress or pretending everything is fine.
It means having the tools, mindset and strategies to deal with challenges constructively β and come back with clarity and confidence.
Why do you need resilience in sales?
Salespeople hear "no" regularly.
Deals fall over. Prospects don't return calls. Budgets get cut. Competitors win business. Targets aren't always met.
A resilient salesperson doesn't allow one difficult conversation, lost opportunity or challenging day to define their performance.
They ask:
What can I learn?
What can I do differently?
What's the next opportunity?
They reset and get back into action.
Why does leadership require resilience?
Leadership brings its own pressures.
You are supporting your team, managing performance, dealing with change, making decisions, managing customers and often carrying responsibility for the wider business.
Resilient leaders are able to:
β’ Stay calm under pressure
β’ Communicate clearly
β’ Make decisions when things are uncertain
β’ Handle setbacks without losing perspective
β’ Support their team without absorbing everyone's stress
β’ Learn from challenges
β’ Ask for help when they need it
β’ Model healthy behaviours for their people
What does resilience actually look like?
Resilience can be as simple as:
STOP β RESET β REFLECT β REFOCUS β ACT
It might mean taking five minutes before responding to a difficult email.
It might mean stepping away from your desk when you're overwhelmed.
It might mean reviewing what went wrong instead of blaming yourself or someone else.
It might mean having an honest conversation with your manager or team.
It might mean prioritising what actually matters rather than trying to do everything at once.
Some practical resilience strategies:
1. Know your triggers
Recognise what causes you to become stressed, frustrated or overwhelmed.
2. Control what you can control
You can't control every customer decision, market change or business outcome. You can control your preparation, attitude, activity and response.
3. Plan your priorities
Clarity reduces overwhelm. Know what needs to happen today, this week and this quarter.
4. Build recovery into your day
Constantly operating at 100% isn't sustainable. Take breaks, reset and give your brain space to think.
5. Don't personalise rejection
In sales, "no" isn't necessarily a rejection of you. Understand the reason, learn from it and keep moving.
6. Have difficult conversations early
Problems rarely become easier by being ignored.
7. Celebrate progress
Don't wait until you hit the big target to acknowledge what is working.
8. Build your support network
Resilience doesn't mean doing everything alone. Great teams, coaches, mentors and colleagues can provide perspective and support.
9. Keep learning
The more tools you have in your toolbox, the more options you have when challenges arise.
10. Give yourself permission to reset
Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is stop, breathe, reassess and start again with a clear head.
As we move towards 2027...
Let's make resilience part of our sales and leadership capability, not something we only talk about when people are already struggling.
Your people need the tools to handle pressure, change, setbacks and uncertainty β while still being able to perform, communicate and lead effectively.
Let's ensure our teams have the resilience they need to move into 2027 with clarity, confidence and the capability to succeed.
If you'd like to have a conversation about how I can help build resilience, sales capability and leadership confidence within your team:

PROSPECTING CHEAT SHEET
"Today's Prospecting Creates Tomorrow's Sales"
26/09/2026
Goals without a plan are simply wishes.
Whether your goal is to:
β’ Run a marathon
β’ Get promoted
β’ Start a fitness journey
β’ Give up smoking or va**ng
β’ Lose weight
β’ Raise high-performing teams
β’ Increase sales and profitability
β’ Streamline business systems
β’ Get kids toilet trained or finally cleaning their rooms
β’ Join your local hockey or netball team
β’ Organise a successful event
β’ Or even make it to the Olympics...
Success starts with putting the right strategy and plan in place.
When things get hard β and they will β having a clear roadmap helps you stay focused, motivated, and moving forward.
One of the best ways to create meaningful goals is by using the S.M.A.R.T framework:
S β SIMPLE
Keep the goal clear, focused, and easy to understand.
M β MEASURABLE
How will you measure progress and success?
A β ACHIEVABLE
What steps, systems, habits, and support do you need to put in place to achieve it?
Is this truly YOUR goal β or someone elseβs expectation?
R β REALISTIC
Can this goal realistically fit within your current season, resources, and priorities?
T β TIME-BOUND
Put a date and timeframe around your goal.
Without a timeline, a dream often stays a dream.
Most successful people donβt just set goals β they journal progress, adjust the plan when needed, learn through setbacks, and keep going.
Never give up simply because the journey looks different from how you imagined it.
I help businesses, leaders, sales teams, and individuals create strategies and action plans that deliver real outcomes:
β’ Increased sales
β’ Stronger pipelines
β’ Improved team performance
β’ Better systems and processes
β’ Greater market share
β’ Increased profitability
β’ Clear KPI and budget alignment
β’ Leadership and accountability growth
If you would like support putting a strategy and action plan in place for yourself, your team, or your business, I would love to have a conversation to see if we are the right fit.
