Gary's loo needs a new.... er... pump? Yes I can fix stuff but my poetry skills escape me, thanks to the internet for this one.

Poor Gary fell ill with a terrible bug,
And wrapped himself up like a ghost in a rug.
He ran for the loo—to a horrifying scene!
The pump had exploded, the valve was unclean.

The stench was a monster, a chemical haze,
With Gary too weak to fix up the malaise.
So Fixing and Fitting rolled up their sleeves,
To tackle the mess that no camper believes.

Plunging through the muck with a squelch and a squish,
While Gary lay moaning and making a wish.
With a twist and a yank and a terrible PLOP,
Fixing and Fitting got the foul leaking to stop!

I've been lucky enough to be working in Hahei recently (more on Barbara and Robbie's project later), and while I was there I noticed the sliding door in the store was really grumbly and dragging. Years of sand and seaside elements had taken their toll on the wheels so out came the door and in went the new wheels.

Both of these wheels were replaced with brand new ones, you can see the one on the left was in quite a state and the one on the right had been replaced at some stage but was also worn.

Store owner Shane and the staff are really happy with their repaired, easy-slide door! ❤

Today's helper..... well, I say helper, he certainly took a shine to my favourite screwdriver. I can misplace it all by myself never mind this cheeky monkey running off with it 😁🐕

Garage storage project for Jo, two Pax wardrobes in their narrow format offer amazing storage and the sliding doors meant that the family can still fit two cars in the garage. Sometimes the sliding doors are a bit of a pain to build, and tricky if they have mirrors but these white panels looked smart and Jo was keen to give me a hand.

Irene and Dannie's house reno is lots of little projects that they're really getting good results with. This utility room was a beautiful (ahem!) shade of blue with, shall we say, "Functional" aesthetics. It's really smart now, and will be even better when the plumber comes this week to fix up the taps. Irene has some vintage tiles to complete the back wall.

F&F replaced the damp floor and fitted the new worktop, stainless sink and tap with help from Dannie but the cupboard and lino is all Dannie's excellent work!

My photo doesn't do Peter's home justice really, it's a beautiful villa transported from the Waikato to Matakana with stunning views and wide living spaces. The IKEA cabinets worked really well in the living room and they were slightly customised to allow access to the power sockets behind them.

A Billy Bookcase works well in the larder for additional storage.

Sometimes I get my "Henry Ford" on and organise a line, my brain loves working out processes like this, I know.... I know.... 🤣
