A Great Achievement!!!

We had the pleasure of presenting Trent with our professional development award. πŸ‘

Trent has recently completed his Level 4 On-Site Wastewater Management System Design course. He finished this course in 9 months, setting the record for the quickest student to complete this course in New Zealand. πŸ€“

This is a testament to how hard Trent has been working both at home and at work, and we are proud to have him as an integral part of the EMS team. 😁

Well done Trent!

🚨 SEPTIC SYSTEM BREAKDOWN🚨

Are your toilets not flushing properly? Has the power tripped? Noticed bad smells around your property? Is your garden unusually boggy or ponding with wastewater? Is your pump making strange noises, or has an alarm light or audible alarm activated?

Before calling a plumber, electrician, or arranging a septic tank pump-out, give our office a call on 06 879 8022.

With over 2,000 wastewater systems under our care throughout Hawke's Bay, we have the experience to quickly diagnose and resolve a wide range of issues. We service, maintain, and repair all brands and styles of wastewater treatment systems, so no matter what system you have, we've got you covered.

Our experienced breakdown technicians are available, 7 days a week. In many cases, we can identify and resolve the issue without the need for multiple contractors, potentially saving you hundreds of dollars in unnecessary call-out fees. Sometimes, we can even talk you through the solution over the phone.

Wastewater systems contain many components that can fail unexpectedly, but our goal is to get your system back up and running as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.

While regular maintenance is always the best way to prevent breakdowns, we're here when the unexpected happens.

How often should your wastewater system be serviced? πŸ€”

Regular servicing is the key to keeping your wastewater system running efficiently and avoiding costly breakdowns.
Most domestic systems should be serviced every 6–12 months, depending on the type of system and household usage.

Routine servicing helps:
πŸ”Ή Keep pumps and blowers operating correctly
πŸ”Ή Keep filters clean and effluent field clear of sludge
πŸ”Ή Prevent unpleasant smells and blockages
πŸ”Ή Extend the life of your system
πŸ”Ή Ensure everything stays compliant with council requirements

Signs your system may need attention sooner:
πŸ”Ή Bad odours
πŸ”Ή Slow drains
πŸ”Ή Alarm activation
πŸ”Ή Wet patches around disposal areas

A little maintenance now can save a big repair bill later!πŸ’Έ

If you are unsure when your system was last serviced, or would like to book your system in to be serviced, please don't hesitate to get in touch with the team at Effluent Management Systems 2025 Ltd.

EMS will keep your system flowing. 😎
