This year, The Arts House Trust invites visitors to engage with Matariki through a range of curated programmes.

Join us for a Matariki-themed drawing workshop developed in response to Peata Larkin's current exhibition, ‘Silent Kōrero’.

Led by the artist, Peata shares her intuitive drawing practice structured on a printed grid creating a blend of abstract and representational imagery.

The Arts House Trust is seeking a friendly, professional and dynamic Front of House Supervisor & Gallery Shop Assistant to join our team at Pah Homestead. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and engaging experience while supporting the day-to-day operation of the gallery, shop, and venue.

Experience the mesmerising fusion of Global Strings’ 𝘌𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘌𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘔𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘞𝘦𝘴𝘵, a unique musical collaboration where the soulful sounds of the sitar, the soaring melodies of the violin, and the rhythmic pulse of the Tabla unite. This harmonious blend of Indian classical and contemporary Western music creates a rich tapestry of sound that transcends cultural boundaries.

From the intricate ragas of Indian classical to the improvisational spirit of jazz and Western classical music, this performance bridges worlds and traditions, transporting audiences on a sonic journey from East to West.

Featuring: Monique Lapins (Violin), Basant Madhur (Tabla), Sargam Madhur (Sitar), Akhil Madhur (Tabla).
