✨ Alexandra, meet Navratri.
Today is Day 1 of Navratri — the beginning of a nine-night Hindu festival centred around Goddess Durga, devotion, culture and new beginnings. Day 1 honours Maa Shailaputri, the first form of the Goddess.

Tonight, we’re bringing a small taste of that tradition to Alexandra through the best way we know — around the table. Think Aloo Gobi, Chana Masala, Vegetable Korma, rice, naan and other vegetarian favourites, ready to share with family and friends. Fishtail’s menu includes these classic vegetarian dishes alongside its Indian and Nepalese cuisine.

With Alexandra’s school-holiday programme and the national Term 3 holidays finishing today, it’s the perfect Sunday evening to slow down, share a meal and discover a celebration that may be happening thousands of kilometres away — but can still feel at home here in Central Otago. ❤️
