We currently are having an eventful drive to Gore this morning. Been held up by mob moving.

Gore Fruit Stall, Saturday 11 April (tomorrow).
This will be our last fruit stall for the season and I have made it back in time. Granted Bevin has done a sterling job keeping you supplied with our fruit while I was away.
So come on down it, promises to be full of laughs as the 2 of us will be working together.
Fruit available includes:
Plums
Pears
Apples
Small grade peaches
Grapes

Well it appears Autumn is here. Dark and chilly start to the day but warming in sunshine.
Parking is a bit scarce today at our Gore Fruit Stall, as the Scottish Highland Dancing competitions are being held at the St Andrews parish hall.
It is lovely having the sound of bagpipes in the background.

The weekly Gore pack out is under way for tomorrow's fruit stall.

For those of you that are fond of our Stella cherries, and missing that taste of early summer, check out the Jazzy Jerry ice cream by Pattis & Cream in Dunedin.
It has been made using our gorgeous cherries and is sooo delicious. Hard to stop at one spoon/bowl full 😆

I'm packed and on my way to Gore.
Smaller amount of fruit today but finally have necrarines.

Trying hard not to be blown over in Gore this morning or have the new gazebo buckled 🌬

I am trying to get away with not having to put my wet weather gear and winter woolies on. The gazebo walls are definitely helping 😄
All prepared for packing up in the rain though, with tarp already laid on the back of the car.

Saturday 24 January
9am - 1pm (or when the fruit sells out)
Cnr Ardwick and Devon Streets, on the St Andrews parish grounds.

It has been a morning picking plums before the anticipated rain comes in.
We have Duffs Early Jewel, Shiro (unfortunately smaller than usual as yhe trees got missed in the thinning regime) and Black Amber.
That follows yesterday afternoon and evening picking the Heritage apricots further, where we found a wee family of Waxeyes and had a great veiw over our orchard.
