Back by popular demand, a new Taxidermy Hare Sculpture from Kimberley Dodd .squirrel99 Meet Seumus the Sneak!

No doubt about it. Sneaky is his middle name. Stealthily lifting precious curios from about your home while your back is turned. Nobody suspects a thing! Who would. He's so handsome and debonair. A fancy watch here, a gold lighter there, your grandmothers emerald ring. Make sure you count the silver. . .

Over the colder months, we hope to inspire you to think about art, creativity and what inspires artists to keep creating. This is what Leonard Cohen has to say. Do you agree? Is it the real thing or is each artwork or piece of poetry, simply the creator's own unique story?

Have your say here, comments welcome!

A fabulous new oil portrait, THE QUEEN, just arrived in the Gallery from Christchurch Artist, Caroline Kelly. This piece is set off by a beautiful gilded frame. More information about the Artist -

Since a very young age Caroline has had a deep passion for art, extensively drawing portraits and the human form. Her love of people, emotions and life motivates the Artist to capture in oil, the human experience and beautiful moments through her art. Caroline says "People are my absolute passion when it comes to creating art, however I love to paint many different subjects, including still life, landscapes, cityscapes and many more."

Up until 2019 she was self taught then became Atelier trained, falling in love with the mastery and language of art. Caroline learnt oil painting, watercolour and classical drawing, which has taught her about light, atmosphere and the importance of tone.
