And what surprised us most was the incredible level of interest and curiosity we encountered from people from all walks of life and across so many different industries.

From curious students asking questions about the future of shipping, to experienced maritime professionals and retired sailors sharing stories from a lifetime at sea every conversation brought a different perspective.

At the heart of our booth was the newest addition to our fleet: 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗽 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗦𝗵𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥'𝘴 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘻𝘦𝘳𝘰-𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘺𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘯-𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘵-𝘴𝘦𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘳 𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘭.
With two SeaShuttles now under construction, the first vessel is scheduled for completion next year and will operate between Rotterdam and Oslo, Norway bringing an ambitious vision for more sustainable short-sea shipping one step closer to reality.

But the conversations didn't stop with the SeaShuttles.
Visitors also had the opportunity to learn more about Samskip, our wider approach to sustainability and the many projects and initiatives helping us move towards a more sustainable future.
And that is what made the weekend so special.

Of course, we were proud to share information about our SeaShuttles, and the innovation behind it. But just as inspiring was seeing how technology, curiosity, experience and new ideas brought so many different people together.
