I always find it fascinating how different babies can be at birth. The answers in my stories today were so varied.
Some tiny. Some surprisingly big.
It never feels “big” or “small” in the moment. Only real.

Birth rarely goes exactly as planned.
After documenting this very quick birth, mom had to go to the OR and baby was taken to the NICU. While mom couldn’t be there, I was. Holding on to those first moments for her, the ones she would have missed completely. That's birth photography.
